Went to Bali

 

Last Sunday I went to Paradise Island, Bali. I went there with my friends and my teachers. We went there in order to do study tour. 

            Firstly, at about 8 a.m. we started the tour to Bali by bus. At the journey, so many friends got bus sick and slept in bus. Our bus have stopped at the gas station or mosque if we had to pray and lunch. The journey took very long time.

            Secondly, we arrived at Ketapang Harbour at 1 a.m. We continued the journey by ship. Then we continued again by bus. And we arrived at Bali about 4 a.m. After we had prayed, we began to go to Tanah Lot to enjoy the sunrise. There was quiet, not much visitors and the shop that located before the entrance still closed. When we arrived, we saw two big gates with a statue in the center. I was took a picture of my friends in front of the big gates.

            After that, we walked again and saw many pura that is Pura Jero Kandang, Pura Enjung Galuh, Pura Batu Bolong, Pura Batu Mejan, and Pura Luhur Pekendungan. All of the pura included Pura Luhur Tanah Lot. I saw many people who were prayed and put sesajen at the pura. Before it, me and my friends took a picture in front of Bale Gong.

            Thirdly, we enjoyed the sunrise at Tanah Lot. It was so beautiful scenery. Beside the beach there are many big rocks, the waves is big too. That’s why Tanah Lot called a Rocky Beach. On the big rocks, there are locals home. I really love the scenery. So I didn’t forgot to took a picture together with my classmates. It was the first day and first place in Bali that we have visited.

At the 2nd day, we watched Barong and Keris Dance at Batubulan village. The dance told a story about a battle between darma (goodness) and adarma (evilness). The Barong characters represented darma, than Rangdarepresented adarma. The dance started with gamelan.The dance took about one hour. I didn’t forget to make a video about this amazing dance performance.

At the 3rd day before we left for Sukoharjo we visited Bedugul Lake. There was cold because it’s located hill of a mountain. To reached the lake we must walked pass by an up hill road. When we arrived there, almost of us took a picture and queued to buy tickets for ride a speed boat that brought us to go around the lake. That was fun.

Actually, we visited 14 places. But, that three places I most like. Although the journey was so long, me and my friends are not bored because of it. That was a pleasant journey and make a memorable experience that I ever have. I hope I could visited this island again.
